The winter hike from First to Bort can be walked with light baggage and without provisions: On the three-hour tour, there are three opportunities to make a stop. After the first refreshment stop at Berggasthaus First, you carry on to Bachalpsee. A trip to the lake should definitely be planned, even though the valley path branches off shortly before that towards the valley. Berggasthaus Waldspitz invites you to enjoy the winter sun on its terrace. Or you can continue to Bort, the last refreshment stop. And then you will be carried down by the gondola lift to Grindelwald - like a snowflake on the wind.
