For a whole two and a half hours the sledgers have to pull their sled behind them before they can try "Big Pintenfritz", the longest sledging run in the world. The start on the Faulhorn (2680 m above sea level) is only reachable from First on foot. The ascent is long but the hair-raising run into the valley is fantastic: The bravest sledgers run the 15-kilometre distance in about 30 minutes. Provided they do not leave the trail, for example, for a stop at the Bergrestaurant Bussalp. This is how it is with the Big Pintenfritz: It is said that the former proprietor of the Faulhorn Restaurant regularly hung out in a pub after sledging.
The current live status of the Big Pintenfritz as well as all other hiking and sledging slopes can be found in the slope data.
