Day tickets (day ticket with Half Fare, day ticket without Half Fare, municipality day ticket, Post day ticket, Duo day ticket, etc.) are valid for free travel from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald, Wengen and Mürren.
The day ticket is valid on the following connecting routes:

All you need for your booking is internet access. Put your mountain railway ticket, your skipass or a package in the shopping cart. You then pay conveniently & securely with a credit card and print* your travel documents at home. Travel directly to your destination – we take care of all the rest. You can book using a guest account as well as with a user account.
*The mountain railway ticket can be presented as a mobile ticket on your smartphone without a printout.
Seat reservation is required for groups from 10 persons. This can be confirmed at the earliest 3 months in advance. Group reservations can be made online in the following form, by telephone at +41 33 828 72 53 or via e-mail to reservation(at)jungfrau.ch.
Reservation is not obligatory for individual travellers in the Jungfrau Railway, but is recommended and can be made via our online shop at jungfrau.ch/shop/en/bergbahn/reservation.

No, the Jungfrau Travel Pass can be bought directly at any railway station or at any aerial gondola station in the Jungfrau Region. The number of passes is unlimited.
In principle, tickets are non-refundable. When purchasing online, you have the option of taking out cancellation insurance, which will cover the cancellation should you be unable to make the trip due to illness. Please contact the insurance company directly. If no insurance has been taken out, there is no entitlement to a refund.
Adventure Packages as a whole and individual services derived from them are as a rule not refundable. If the implementation cannot be guaranteed due to a force majeure event such as weather conditions etc., JBM will first try to offer an alternative activity (mountain cart, first flyer, first glider, Trottibike Scooter etc.). If this is not possible, or if the customer rejects another activity, JBM’s service obligation shall become null and void. Only if no alternative can be offered and the reason for the unfulfilled service lies within the sphere of influence of JBM (such as technical problems at the adventure facility or feeder railway) will a partial refund for services not received be granted.
Taking waiting times (which can exceed 2 hours) into account is the responsibility of the customers and beyond the control of Jungfraubahn Management AG, which is why missing the operating hours does not constitute grounds for a refund. Portions of the Adventure Package and individual tickets redeemed for an activity are non-refundable. This includes in particular the journey by feeder railway (e.g. First Aerial Cableway).

Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe is one of the most popular travel destinations in Europe. As individual travellers and small groups, you can book your seats for the journey from Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch –Top of Europe and back.
If you do not make a reservation, we cannot guarantee you a seat at the desired departure time. Longer waiting times must be expected in the high season.

You can book individual seats online before you start your journey or at a Jungfrau Railways counter. Reservation is not mandatory but is recommended due to the high number of guests in summer. You can also secure the purchase of a Jungfrau ticket with a seat reservation made in advance.
For children travelling to the Jungfraujoch free of charge with the Junior Card, the Children’s Co-Travelcard or their own passes, you must make the single seat reservation separately in a new booking. It is not possible to do this when booking the adult tickets.

Follow the signs at the Eiger Glacier or the Jungfraujoch. All travellers with seat reservations should follow the green signs. This does not apply to groups of travellers. The seats in the purple areas are reserved for them.

With the Wengernalp Railway via Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen:
The journey from Grindelwald takes 1 hour 26 minutes there and 1 hour 26 minutes back. We recommend at least 5–6 hours to allow a reasonable amount of time on the Jungfraujoch.
From Grindelwald Terminal with the Eiger Express:
The journey from Grindelwald Terminal takes 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back.
We recommend at least 3.5–4.5 hours to allow a reasonable amount of time on the Jungfraujoch.
For the journey by wheelchair to the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, it is strongly recommended to use the tricable gondola Eiger Express from Grindelwald Terminal (via Eigergletscher station). If travelling via Kleine Scheidegg, transport cannot be guaranteed in all cases. Pre-booking is essential for groups of 3 or more people in wheelchairs or for the journey via Kleine Scheidegg. A seat reservation is not necessary. Please inform the ticket office clerk at the departure station about the journey so that any assistance can be provided. The Jungfraujoch is wheelchair accessible. The entrance to the Ice Palace is equipped with a wheelchair stair lift.

You have the option of picking up your skipass at one of the pick-up machines at the following locations. The holder must be able to identify himself on request. Lost passes cannot be replaced. No cancellation, exchange, compensation or cash refund is possible. Our railways allow rapid transport to high altitude. As altitude increases, air pressure and the oxygen in the air decreases accordingly. The healthy body has excellent adaptation mechanisms that allow a relatively rapid rise to medium and higher altitudes up to 4000 metres without damage to health. Typical altitude sickness (altitude oedema) will appear 6–12 hours into your stay at over 2500 metres at the earliest.
Therefore, altitude sickness has no practical significance for a short stay at the Jungfraujoch. Nevertheless, you should only make trips to high altitudes if you feel healthy.
