Advance sales for the Top4 skipass begin on 1 October

As things stand, there is nothing standing in the way of a largely unrestricted winter sports operation in the coming season. Advance sales of the Top 4 skipass for Adelboden-Lenk, Gstaad, the Jungfrau Ski Region and Meiringen-Hasliberg will therefore start as planned on 1 October 2020 and continue until 15 December 2020. During this period, you can buy the pass for 777 Swiss francs. With regard to Covid-19, the ski areas in the Top 4 region are implementing a protection concept developed in consultation with the Canton of Bern in the same way as in the summer. There is also a Covid-19 money back guarantee when you buy the pass.

The four largest Bernese ski resorts are already entering their fourth winter season with the joint pass. 38,000 winter sports enthusiasts bought the pass in the 2018/2019 season, and in the following 2019/2020 season 42,198 people have already opted in. Those running the scheme are therefore confident that they will be able to offer a suitable product, especially in the coming season, when a lot of Swiss people are likely to be spending their holidays and taking excursions in Switzerland.

The advance sale starts on Thursday, 1 October 2020, and again runs until 15 December 2020. The price for adults has increased to CHF 777, the prices for children and young people remain unchanged. The price increase is due to the investments of all the participating ski areas in new facilities and increased quality. At the end of the advance sale, the Top4 skipass will cost 1,100 Swiss francs.

Money back guarantee and protection concept

A Covid-19 money back guarantee applies to all holders of a Top4 skipass. In the event of a lockdown and the resulting closure of all Top 4 ski areas between 1 December 2020 and 5 April 2021, refunds will be made on a pro rata basis. Refunds will be made in cash.     

With regard to Covid-19, the Top 4 ski areas are implementing a protection concept based on the requirements of the federal government and the canton of Bern. This can build on the good experiences of the summer. Similar to the public transport protection concept, there are no capacity restrictions for railways and mountain and cable railways, but as with public transport, masks are mandatory. For chairlifts and ski lifts there is no obligation to wear masks. Consideration isNews being given to the possibility of using a snood or bandana as mouth and nose protection in winter sports. 

 

Sportpass with added value
