The way up to Kleine Scheidegg leads downwards first – to Grindelwald Grund station. It is situated in the valley below the village centre and has a large car park. Those who stay nearby will save money on their way to the Grindelwald train station. And they will get to Kleine Scheidegg a little quicker. After their descent, the trains turn around there. After that, it's all uphill.
